The house

We are not a hotel, and that is deliberate.

  • 10 minto the village, a short walk away
  • 2.5 haof grounds and gardens, with thousands of roses
  • 12 guestsat most, welcomed in person

We like to welcome you ourselves, share our favorite addresses and exchange a few words when you come back from your walks. For us, hosting means being there when you feel like it, while letting you enjoy the quiet and live your stay at your own pace.

Little by little, you settle into your habits: a swim when you get back from the market, your favorite armchair in the shade, a few pages on the terrace. One morning, you had planned to leave early and explore Provence. But the light is coming through the leaves, you feel good, and you decide to stay a little longer. The itinerary can wait.

And then one evening, leaving the lanes of Gordes, you catch yourself saying: “Shall we go home?”

Gordes, on foot

Gordes is best discovered on foot, straight from the house.

You sleep outside the hilltop village, in the quiet of the Luberon, and walk up to it: the Tuesday market, the terraces, the castle. Then back to the pool.
