What data, and what for
The information you send us (stay inquiry, gift voucher, email address, phone number) is used solely to respond to your request and to organize your stay. Its legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request. It is kept for three years from our last exchange, then deleted; accounting documents relating to a completed stay are kept for ten years, as required by law. Booking, payment and messages sent through the contact form are handled by our booking software, Lodgify, which applies its own privacy policy.
Audience measurement & cookies
We measure the website's audience with Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel, only after you have given your consent (legal basis: your consent), which is collected through the banner on your first visit. Declining is as easy as accepting and has no effect on your browsing. Your choice is kept for six months, after which we ask you again.
What is stored on your device:
- Only after you accept — the Google Analytics cookies

vh-consent(your choice and its date), so that we do not ask you again on every page. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
You can change your mind whenever you like: (also available in the footer). If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops immediately and the Google and Meta cookies are deleted from your browser.
Google may process this data in the United States. Google LLC adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, recognized by the European Commission.
The WhatsApp button sends nothing until you click it. If you use it, your conversation goes through WhatsApp (Meta), under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, to restrict and object to its processing, and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at villa.hautvallon@gmail.com; we reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — cnil.fr.
Recipients
Your data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties. It is accessible to the house and to our technical service providers, who act on our behalf: Lodgify (booking, payment and messaging), Vercel (website hosting), and Google (audience measurement and, on ad landing pages, ad measurement — after consent).
