The rose garden when spring opens them by the thousand, the fountain, the pool house as evening falls, the shade of the great chestnut trees. The house never takes more than twelve guests: finding a moment alone is not a project, it is the normal state of the grounds.
Prefer the village? Gordes is a ten-minute walk away — at the end of the day, once the visitors have left, the calades (the cobbled lanes) belong to those who stay the night.
How we prepare

Can we arrange a marriage proposal at Villa Hautvallon?
Yes — tell us when you book (and only us). Champagne or flowers in the room on arrival, a table booked in the village for that same evening, and the spot on the grounds chosen together beforehand: we prepare everything, discreetly.
Which spots on the grounds work for a proposal?
The grounds cover two and a half hectares (6 acres) for twelve guests at most: there is no shortage of quiet corners. The rose garden in spring, the fountain, the pool house in the evening or the shade of the great chestnut trees — we help you choose according to the season and the time of day.
Will the other guests know?
No. The house never takes more than twelve guests, and we are the only ones preparing your moment. No one else will know a thing — until the yes.
And for the rest of the weekend: our romantic getaway in Gordes, hour by hour. If the date is already a wedding anniversary: celebrating it at the house.
