We absolutely LOVED our stay at Villa Hautvallon! It was the first stop on our honeymoon, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a more wonderful way to begin our trip.

Pierre and his family run such a special property. From the beautiful grounds to the delicious daily breakfasts, everything was absolutely lovely. The entire property captures that quintessential Provence charm we were hoping to experience!

We stayed in the Historic Room, which was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We especially loved having both a bathtub and shower, along with our own private patio. The location is also fantastic, with a lovely little path that takes you into the heart of Gordes in just about 10 minutes.

We loved every second of our stay and felt so lucky to experience such a beautiful place. Thank you to Pierre and his family for making our first honeymoon stop so memorable! We sincerely hope to return someday. Highly, highly recommend!

This family owned villa is a little piece of paradise. It is beautifully decorated and the owners take great pride in providing a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms have what you need though configuration of a toilet in a walk in closet is a bit funky and maintenance and repairs should be more up to date. Breakfasts were lovely but just know that you pay an extra 15 or 20 euros for eggs and bacon. It really ought to be included for the price of the stay. All in all though, the owners are wonderful, the property is beautiful and you can access the historic center of Gordes by taking a dirt path directly from the property - just a 10 minute walk.

Pierr and his family are incredibly warm, polite and thoughtful. This property is a private manor run jointly by Pierr and his family, with well-equipped facilities. Every room comes with its own small private garden. The breakfast is healthy and nutritionally balanced. When the weather is good, you can dine outside while enjoying the sunshine.

The dinner served here is especially recommended — it was absolutely delicious! We happened to celebrate my father’s birthday during our stay. Pierr arranged a cosy private dining room for us, with carefully prepared candles and a birthday cake. He communicated with us patiently and attentively throughout the whole experience. The wonderful dinner completely changed my wife’s impression of French cuisine! Very delicious!

I’ll never stop talking about how amazing our stay at Villa HautVallon was. My husband and I spent two days there for our honeymoon, and we could of spent the entire week. The entire property is absolutely gorgeous, and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. The rooms are so clean and the bed was simply amazing with fluffy pillows. The breakfast every morning was a highlight (make sure to try the lavender honey on bread!). The host and his family are so kind and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Jean also gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area and we enjoyed getting to know him. We will be back!!! - Jenna and Sam

−Le seul problème rencontré concernait le nom de l'entreprise lors du paiement. Sur le relevé de carte bancaire, le nom du bénéficiaire n'apparaissait pas comme celui de l'hôtel Villa Hautvallon, car l'établissement possède plusieurs propriétés et le nom de l'entreprise est différent. Cependant, après les avoir contactés, ils ont été très réactifs et le problème a été résolu.

+The Villa was perfectly located walking distance to Gordes where there are some great restaurants, shopping and just exploring this beautiful village. However the best thing about this villa is the peaceful and beautiful surroundings to relax after a day out. The room was clean with everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with a large array of bread and pastry. This is a family run business and Pierre and his family could not be more accommodating. We would highly recommend this villa if you are visiting the area.

+The location was perfect to walk into Gordes and to visit towns around the area with a car. Menerbes, Bonnieaux, Roussilon, Lacoste were all within easy reach and Pierre our host was very knowledgable. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The scrambled eggs an bacon, which were extra were delicious and well worth it. Loved the pool area and the pool as after coming back from our day out we would relax by the pool for a couple of hours. Also our room was very beautiful with a very large bathroom and a lovely terrace to sit in. We stayed in Chamber Provencal.

Nous avons séjourné à la Villa Hautvallon du 11 au 13 septembre. La propriété est très belle et bénéficie d’un cadre élégant et agréable. Nous avions accepté à l’avance la proposition d’une « grande suite ». À notre arrivée, nous avons toutefois constaté qu’il s’agissait d’un ensemble composé de deux chambres, d’un petit salon et d’une seule salle de bains. Pour deux personnes, cette configuration était largement plus importante que nécessaire et ne correspondait pas à l’idée que nous nous faisions d’une suite, avec une chambre, un salon et des salles de bains adaptées. Notre principale déception concerne surtout le rapport entre le prix et nos besoins réels. Nous avons payé environ 1 500 € pour deux nuits, alors qu’une belle chambre pour deux personnes, avec une belle salle de bains, aurait coûté environ 400 € par nuit, soit environ 800 € pour le séjour. Nous avons donc eu le sentiment de payer très cher pour des espaces supplémentaires dont nous n’avions pas l’utilité. Enfin, le petit-déjeuner nous a semblé particulièrement simple et modeste au regard du standing annoncé et du prix de l’établissement. Nous avons apprécié la beauté du lieu, mais nous avons trouvé que l’expérience globale et les prestations n’étaient pas tout à fait à la hauteur d’un tarif aussi élevé.

Ich kann kaum in Worte fassen, wie wunderbar und einzigartig dieser traumhafte Ort ist. Das wunderschöne Anwesen mit seinem charmanten, liebevoll gepflegten Garten versprüht eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre, in der man sich beinahe wie in einem Märchen fühlt.

Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam und lassen wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das mit viel Liebe zubereitete und angerichtete Frühstück. Es bleibt wunderbar authentisch französisch und bietet gleichzeitig durch die zahlreichen zusätzlichen Add-ons eine große Auswahl, sodass wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist.

Von Pierre haben wir außerdem unzählige wertvolle Tipps zu Ausflugszielen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und vielem mehr erhalten. Dadurch war unser Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet – und selbst nach sieben Nächten wurde uns keine Sekunde langweilig. Im Gegenteil: Wir hätten noch so viele weitere wunderschöne Orte entdecken können, wenn die Zeit es zugelassen hätte. Schließlich wollten wir auch genügend Zeit haben, um das herrliche Anwesen, den wunderschönen Garten und den liebevoll angelegten Pool in vollen Zügen zu genießen. ;-)

Ein ganz besonderes und unvergessliches Erlebnis war das romantische Barbecue, das Pierre für uns Gäste zubereitet hat. Sowohl die Atmosphäre als auch die Qualität und Auswahl der Speisen waren einfach wundervoll und wunderbar typisch provenzalisch. Ein rundum perfekter Abend, den wir noch lange in Erinnerung behalten werden.

Pierre ist ein außergewöhnlich herzlicher und wundervoller Gastgeber, bei dem man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und rundum wohlfühlt.

+This is our second visit here. We had a fabulous stay and Pierre was so helpful with his suggestions for day trips and restaurants. The breakfast was superb and everything about the hotel is done with so much love and care. It’s also really well located. You can easily walk to the town centre in 15 minutes and Pierre also collected my parents from the town centre after dinner as we couldn’t get a taxi back. Really outstanding hospitality ❤️

−It is difficult for those with mobility issues as there are many steps along the property and, as we travelled with my elderly parents, it was difficult for them to get around both around the grounds and there were also steps within the suites, but they still enjoyed their stay very much. We just needed to help them a bit to ensure they could manage.

+Niché au cœur de la Provence, notre séjour à Hautvallon, à Gordes, a dépassé toutes nos attentes. La maison d’hôtes est encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos, un vrai havre de paix entouré de nature. Nous avons logé dans la Suite des Marronniers. Spacieuse, apaisante et bordée de verdure, elle bénéficie d'une magnifique lumière qui sublime le paysage tout au long de la journée. L'accueil est tout simplement chaleureux. Pierre et sa maman sont aux petits soins et donnent toujours de bons conseils,de bonnes adresses pour visiter les environs. Pierre nous a reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse, et sa maman apporte une touche particulière avec toute sa classe, son élégance. Le petit-déjeuner copieux venait parfaitement lancer la journée : des fruits frais, des viennoiseries, une délicieuse brioche Saint-Firmin et de très bons œufs brouillés. Une adresse coup de cœur où l'on prend le temps de vivre !

+Csodálatos, nyugodt környezetben van a szállás. Azoknak ajánlom, akik igazás csendes pihenésre, feltöltődésre vágynak és elmenekülnének a város zajától, a forgatagtól. A kert, a szobák berendezése és a felszerelés igazán exkluzív, provancei hangulatú. A lakberendezés részleteire különös igényességgel figyeltek, ami más szállásokra nem jellemző vagy nagyon ritka. Érdemes tudni, hogy vacsora lehetőség nincs a szálláshelyen, így azt külön kell egyénileg intézni. A környéken csak előzetes foglalással érhetőek el szabad asztalok az étterembekben vacsora időben, így ezt még érkezés előtt érdemes lefoglalni (napokkal előtte). A szállásadó család kifejezetten barátságos, szívesen társalognak angolul is. Nagyon szívesen térünk vissza hozzájuk máskor is. Minden tetszett, a reggeli kiváló volt. Szép volt a szemnek és a léleknek is ott lenni. Nagyon ajánlom mindenkinek! Életre szóló élmény!!

We have just returned from 9 memorable days at the beautiful Villa Hautevallon. This was a family vacation that included 8 adults (4 couples) and 2 young children. We rented the entire villa so had the place to ourselves. The layout is perfect for families with adult children since everyone had their own spacious room(s) within this absolutely gorgeous and meandering home. The villa is exquisitely decorated in a charming Provencal style. It is spotless. The grounds are stunning and meticulously cared for. The pool and surrounding deck are the perfect place to relax after a day of touring the quaint villages with their fabulous markets that dot the surrounding countryside. Delicious pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and more are served in the lovely breakfast house adjacent to the pool. Pierre and his family are the most gracious of hosts. They are warm, welcoming, kind, and helpful. They also prepared some outstanding meals for us. I cannot say enough about this little piece of paradise in Provence. We will be talking about this vacation for a long time to come and can't wait for our return visit next year!

My husband and I had a great 6-night stay here. We had a lovely time exploring the area and coming back each night to our lovely room. We really appreciated the Villa's beauty and loved hearing the cicadas as we lounged by the pool. We loved that the windows had not only curtains, but outside shutters that could close for extra light blocking. The AC unit in the room worked great. The host was very responsive to all of our needs and was happy to give suggestions for things to do, places to eat, restaurant reservations etc., I eat a non-dairy diet and, the host was gracious to provide oatmilk for my morning coffee. We also loved the coffee machine th, which was easy to use and could make almosty type of coffee drink you wanted.

Just a Just a warning: the pool is not heated, which was kind of a bummer, as even though it was very hot out, the water was too frigid to really enjoy swimming in. They do provide breakfast, but it isn't really a "full" breakfast, as it is mostly just pastries and cereals. You have to pay extra for eggs. It wasn't an issue for us as we typically aren't breakfast people. Be aware that while the walk into town is about 10 min or less, it is downhill, so the walk back up takes a little longer. Also, if you walk back at night, the small path portion to the main street is unlit, so using your phone flashlight is necessary. It It was a fun adventure at night as we were able to spot bioluminescent little bugs, and as it is away from any city lights on a clear night, the stars shine brightly. Overerall, we would recommend this place. The beauty of this place and the warmth of the hosts really made it a wonderful experience.

+We spent a lovely time in Villa Hautvallon where the atmosphere is magical and peaceful for a perfect relaxing holiday. The entire villa inside is very refined decorated and perfectly cleaned. The garden and the pool are perfectly maintained and it’s possible to enjoy the peaceful mood right there. The family owner and the hospitality team are simply lovely and ready to support you anytime. A special thank to Pierre who assist us with all the best tips to sightseeing around. Villa Hautvallon is amazing! It is the most charming place to stay at in Provence. To begin with the location, it is perfect. Located in the very charming Gordes and from here you can explore so many villages without spending to much time driving. Villa Hautvallon is the most beautiful, charming and peaceful choice you can make. Walking distance to the centre of the village! Lovely garden. A very nice and big pool. And what is adding so much value and good energy is the family who owns this amazing place. Pierre is always available giving perfect information about everything you might need. He is taking his time and make sure that the information is according to your wishes. The tables for lunch are located like you are in a dream! I strongly recommend Villa Hautvallon for making you visit in Provence the absolute best possible.

The property was so much more than we were expecting. A large, beautiful French Chateau with gardens, fountains, a lovely pool and very welcoming hosts. This is a family estate that is a rare find. Easy to walk to the village of Gordes. Pierre, one of the owners, sent us itineraries every day with lots of great ideas for markets, towns, wineries, restaurants and scenic hikes. We hope to be able to visit this beautiful estate again very soon. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Hautvallon during our honeymoon, and it was our favorite accommodation during the trip (and possibly ever). The property itself is indescribable: just a 15-20 minute walk from the heart of Gordes, it is secluded and integrated with nature. We loved admiring the flowers on the grounds and listening to the birds chirp in the mornings. Because the property offers just a handful of rooms, it is very quiet and easy to feel like you are the only guests. This also allows sufficient parking on the grounds for each set of guests.

The interior of the property and its rooms are well-maintained and decorated impeccably, and our bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Our one piece of feedback is that the pool could have used skimming to remove debris and bugs. The staff were knowledgeable and personable and offered terrific recommendations for Gordes and the surrounding areas. We would highly recommend both Gordes and Villa Hautvallon for folks planning a trip to the region. We hope our families will visit one day and that we might get to return as well.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Villa Hautvallon. It is an absolutely beautiful property and a haven of tranquility. The location is hard to beat, being a short walk from the center of Gordes but yet being secluded so you can relax and enjoy Provencal nature at it's best.

Do not expect a full service hotel. This is a bed and breakfast, run by a family that stays on site. The family was lovely and met all of our needs without hesitation. We enjoyed chatting with them and they helped us plan our days in the region.

You will be surrounded by stunning nature and occasionally, nature will come into your space. This is not avoidable but you shouldn't be surprised by a spider web or two.

Our only feedback would be to provide drinking water (maybe glass bottles that are refilled daily?).

Overall, we were very satisfied and hope to be back to enjoy the property in the future.

−There are a lot of stairs and levels throughout the property and grounds, so would not recommend to those who have mobility issues, but otherwise I think this place is perfect for anyone wishing to have a peaceful and very comfortable stay in La Provence.

Ein wunderschönes Anwesen, in allen Details perfekt gestaltete Zimmer und gepflegte Umgebung. Wir durften 4 Tage dort verbringen, ursprünglich waren nur 2 geplant, wie haben dann aber noch zwei Tage in der Suite verbracht. Absolut unvergesslich! Pierre, der Gastgeber, kümmerte sich um unser Wohl und machte jeden Tag tolle Vorschläge für Ausflüge und Gastronomie. Danke auch an den aufgestellten Gärtner und Laura, die sich um ganz Vieles kümmerten. Gerne wieder ein anderes Mal!

Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. To begin with, there were old stairs leading to our room. They were extremely dangerous and slippery due to their age, and nobody — not even the host — offered any help with the luggage. I ended up with lower back pain after carrying my suitcases upstairs myself.

Inside the room, the shower was broken and the coffee machine was very dirty. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned properly.

The breakfast was quite sad considering the price you pay. At the very least, you would expect some cheese, ham, or even hard-boiled eggs. Instead, there was only bread, jam, and yogurt. If you want anything extra, they hand you a menu with exorbitant prices.

The owners live on the property and are constantly walking around the common areas, which makes the atmosphere feel uncomfortable and lacking privacy.

There is no parking, and access to the guest house can be difficult.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience in Provence. Considering the price, the value for money is simply not worth it.

+We loved almost everything about this beautiful property. The host family was extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful—checking in with us to ensure our stay was extra special. The 15-minute walk to the town centre was just what we needed to help walk off lunch or dinner. The peaceful garden and inviting pool made it even more enjoyable to wander and relax.

How often have you arrived at a beautiful place you have chosen to stay only to feel like the place did not live up to the pictures posted? Well we can truly say the exact OPPOSITE is true of Villa Hautvallon. While the pictures are lovely the Villa is even more magical and special than you can imagine. We were so fortunate to be celebrating milestone birthdays and anniversaries with our dearest friends and we could not have chosen a better place. After 10 years of owning the Villa, Pierre has probably hosted countless guests, but he made us feel like we were the only ones there. Each morning we were greeted at the breakfast oasis with a warm smile and a question of what our plans were going to be for that day. Pierre took the time to add thoughts and ideas as well as dinner suggestions. With it being a busy time, it was no small task on his part to try and make those reservations. Here are some of the many highlights of the Villa. 1. We loved the location to Gordes and the fact that we could walk into town. Gordes can be busy at times but being at the Villa it was a quiet retreat that we treasured 2. Our 2 bedroom suite was gorgeous and spacious with our own garden area and lots of delightful sunshine every day. 3. The pool and the grounds incredible and one night the 2 couples sat at our outside table and had wine, cheese and light bites for our dinner in total privacy. 4. Waking up every morning to the breakfast solarium was the perfect way to start our day. Pierre’s offering of egg dishes was so appreciated and yes, the best scrambled eggs we have ever eaten. 5. It was the perfect place for the 2 couples and while we have traveled quite a bit this has to be one of our favorite places. Pierre - many thanks to you and your family for offering this magical place to visitors. We did not want to leave and we truly cannot wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Hautvallon in Gordes. The house itself is very nice. Beautifully decorated with tasteful furniture, very comfortable beds with wonderfully soft bed linen, and a lovely fragrance throughout the place.

The host was excellent, extremely welcoming and full of helpful tips and suggested itineraries for exploring the area. Breakfast was served in the pool house, which had a great atmosphere. We knew beforehand that cheese, ham, and eggs were optional extras. While it felt a bit unusual to pay extra, they were very good quality and worth it.

The location is superb, just a 10-minute walk from the center of Gordes, yet peaceful and relaxing. Overall, we can really recommend staying here. It was a perfect mix of comfort, charm, and hospitality.

+We stayed in the family suite - it is enormous and tastefully decorated. The beds were sooo comfortable. Breakfast each day was delicious and we also enjoyed other meals on site - beautiful healthy salads which was just what we were craving. We also walked into Gourdes villages for some amazing meals at Airelles. The service is very personable and friendly. With just five suites spread out on the property, it felt like a perfect combination of private villa and boutique hotel.

We have enjoyed a really very relaxing stay in Villa Hautvallon. Everthing was perfect, the house and its garden are extremely beautiful and outstanding places to deconnect with a lovely pool to swim. The location was also perfect, it is very close to Gordes (walking disctance) and with a lot of nice old towns to visit. The staf and the owwer of the place are extremely friendly, the breakfast was a pleasure each morning and so much more that we have enjoyed in Villa Hautvallon!

What a beautiful and perfect find Villa Hautvallon was! Out time there was glorious. It is remote and secluded, but just a short walk into town. Perfect! It was convenient to all of the sights and villages. Yet we could come back and feel absolute soothing peace relaxing by the beautiful pool or in our delightful room. Polina was a treasure, always seeing to our every need. She made us a lovely lemonade to enjoy while we relaxed at the pool. Breakfasts were memorable and delicious-- some of the most beautiful delicious breads, and Pierre's scrambled eggs are amazing! I wish I could transport myself back right now! Pierre was a welcoming and helpful host. I'm so glad to have discovered this beautiful oasis in Provence.

This was hands-down the most spectacular place we stayed during our trip and definitely my favorite part of our 10-year anniversary. It felt like a peaceful little Provençal paradise—so quiet, beautiful, and full of charm. Pierre was an incredible host. He stayed in touch leading up to our arrival, made check-in super easy, and gave us the best suggestions for things to do, where to eat, and what to see in the area. One night, my husband was too tired to go out for dinner, and Pierre went above and beyond—he made us the coziest candlelit dinner with tomatoes and mozzarella. It was such a thoughtful, unexpected touch that we’ll never forget. Breakfast each morning was amazing—everything fresh and local, and his scrambled eggs were seriously a 10/10. They usually just do breakfast, but the fact that he offered to make us dinner one night says everything about the kind of experience this was. We left already dreaming about when we can come back. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Villa Hautvallon is pure magic. It felt like stepping into a beautiful movie set. The villa itself is stunning, nestled in the most peaceful, breathtaking grounds, with lavender, olive trees, and little corners of beauty everywhere you look. What made it truly unforgettable, though, was the family who runs it. Pierre, Jean-François, and Marianne are simply wonderful, gracious, warm, thoughtful hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. You can feel how much love and care they've poured into this gorgeous place. We walked into the village of Gordes each day (just a short stroll away), but honestly, some of our favorite moments were spent just relaxing by the pool, soaking in the serenity. It’s peaceful in the truest sense of the word, restorative, grounding, and full of quiet joy. We miss it already and are dreaming about our next visit. Villa Hautvallon has become one of those rare places that imprints on your heart. We will return.

+An amazing converted mansion with beautiful original features, in a gorgeous setting just outside Gordes. Our room overlooking the garden, with its own garden entrance and small terrace, was spectacular. Large bathroom with a fantastic, spacious shower. The pool area with loungers is also absolutely stunning. Breakfast is quite simple but very good. Owner Pierre was friendly and efficient and very helpful with suggestions of where to eat in town.

−Not a criticism but the villa is a little tricky to find, and on the road out of town. Our car's GPS system tried to make us drive down a narrow footpath no wider than the car itself so we had to call Pierre for instructions. Would be helpful to have these in advance. It's worth mentioning also that the walk into town is about 15 minutes, so not ideally to be attempted in the heat of the day. There's paid parking halfway to town so take the car and then walk the rest.

Very beautiful place and very well taken care of. The house and the surrounding grounds are immaculate. The Villa is owned by a very kind and welcoming family. My wife and I loved the breakfast by the pool and getting to know other guests from around the world. The opposite of a crowded hotel, the Villa was very peaceful and relaxing. Pierre was super helpful in narrowing down what seemed like an overwhelming choice of restaurants in the area. I can say without hesitation that we would stay here again.

La chambre est spacieuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût .Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande baignoire, et la literie très confortable . L’environnement de la villa est magnifique, très calme, avec un jardin parfaitement entretenu et une piscine idéale pour se détendre. Le petit-déjeuner servi chaque matin était un vrai régal, varié et généreux, avec des produits frais L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné du début à la fin avec de très bon conseils pour les visites et les restaurants , on sent que tout est pensé pour que les hôtes se sentent bien. Une belle adresse à deux pas de Gordes, que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

A true gem of a Villa in a beautiful and relaxing setting set just a short walk to the main square of Gordes. Everything from the beautifully appointed rooms, the grounds, pool, Villa and dining room, where we enjoyed a bountiful and delicious breakfast every morning, was specular. Pierre, Caroline and staff provided a very high level of service throughout our stay. My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed 5 nights celebrating our 40th anniversaries and 70th birthdays and we didn't want to leave. The Luberon region of France is beautiful with many wonderful villages to explore, wineries to visit and wide variety of dining options to choose from. We cannot wait to return.

Staying at Villa Hautvallon was an absolute dream. The property is incredibly gorgeous, inside and out. Pierre and his staff made us feel so pampered, relaxed, and at home. As well as enjoying the delicious breakfast in the pool house each morning, we had lunch and a couple of dinners on-site. I highly recommend this if you have the opportunity. Pierre is an excellent cook and his meals featured all local meats, bread, and produce. The villa is quiet and perfect for a luxurious romantic retreat, but we also loved socializing with Pierre and other guests whom we met and dined with. Villa Hautvallon was the perfect way to end our 30th anniversary trip and the highlight of our time in Provence. Thank you, Pierre, for making our stay so special!

A perfect Stay in Provence - Our family stayed at this beautiful villa in May, and it was truly unforgettable. The location is stunning - peaceful, surrounded by nature, and just a short walk to the village of Gordes. Pierre and his family were incredibly welcoming and warm, making us feel at home. They were always available, very accommodating and gave us local recommendations, that really enhanced our trip. Top in France – A Hidden Gem in Gordes

I’ve stayed at Villa Hautvallon twice over the past two years. The two-bedroom villa is stunning and my favorite accommodation. It features one master bedroom and a twin bedroom, along with a charming, rustic private garden area that’s just perfect.

Pierre, the owner, is incredibly lovely and caring. He invited us for a little wine and conversation, which was a thoughtful and personal touch. The meals he prepared were excellent, especially the beautifully presented breakfast.

The heated pool is also very beautiful and well maintained. Staying here feels so intimate - you truly never want to leave. We’d return again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed an exceptionally relaxing 4 night stay at Villa Hautvallon this August. The villa feels like a quietly luxurious home from home. The welcome and hospitality was genuine but discreet - Pierre and his team shepherded the perfect stay for 2 stressed out Londoners looking for a corner of Provence which didn’t feel cliché or too touristy. The hotel benefits from only 5 rooms, meaning it often feels like you have the entire place to yourself. I would highly recommend the two bedroom suite where we stayed which was a beautifully curated interior for living, relaxing and sleeping. The breakfast is delicious and served in a stunning summer room by the pool. Lunch is very informal but delicious and seasonal served in quiet romantic corners of the garden.

Gordes is just a short walk away from the Villa and we ate at The Bastide de Pierres which we’d recommend for an authentic Tuscan break from traditional Provencal food and Le Trinquette which was fine but forgettable (personally I wouldn’t recommend). Pierre is full of great recommendations for tasty places to try in the area if you’re ever stuck however. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here and enjoy your own slice of what A Good Year promises!

+Amazing old Mas with great character and style. Walking distance from Gordes restaurants. Family run. Pierre and his Mother Maryanne were incredible hosts, giving us advice on where to go, what to do and even booking restaurants for us. breakfast in the morning is out by the pool in a sunny beautiful breakfast room. We will be coming back here for sure!

−The only tiny thing I can possibly think of is the presence of a few silk/plastic flowers but that is a personal thing.

We spent eight lovely nights at the Villa this fall but have been here twice before, including with family. Having sampled most of the rooms, I can safely say that anything you book here will be lovely, spacious, and very comfortable. The owners are gracious and welcoming and feels like visiting family. As other reviewers have said: the property is beautiful and is a wonderful place to spend time between touring the countryside. Breakfast is served in the charming building by the pool and is a perfect start to the day. The other guests staying here tend to be very friendly, engaging people who will be happy to share their experiences in the area. The owners are a wealth of knowledge and assistance in helping to plan or give suggestions for trips around Provence as well. Gordes is a charming village and a good location for many other areas in Provence. As there is ample parking, you can take the path from the property and walk into town. The market on Tuesday is fun but looking for parking is not! In the evening, the lot by the Spar grocery usually has spaces. I could spend hours just looking at all of the amazing things that serve as decoration in the villa and every space has it's own "flavor". So happy to stay here....so sad to leave!

Nous avons passé 6 nuits dans la suite des marronniers. C’est une chambre très spacieuse et confortable où le lit a des allures de royauté. Chaque chambre a son propre coin salon privé dans le jardin. Le matin, vous pourrez prendre votre petit déjeuner dans une dépendance au calme très calme avec vue sur la piscine. On a immédiatement l’impression de faire partie de la famille. Le petit déjeuner est continental, mais des options supplémentaires peuvent être préparées sur demande. Quelle que soit votre question, vous trouverez toujours des conseils et de l’aide. Villa Hautvallon est fortement recommandée à ceux qui recherchent la paix et la tranquillité tout en souhaitant un sentiment de convivialité. Nous espérons y retourner un jour.

We were warmely welcomed by the owners. They showed us around the stunning property and were always there for us. The room (chambre provençale) was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with a love for details. Travelling by car we were pleased to have lots of space to park. Gordes offers several exquisite restaurants and is the perfect base to explore the Provence. When tired, the pool area, beded in a very well kept garden, was refreshing and energizing. The breakfast in the Villa was generous and very tasty. We totally recommend Villa HautVallon and hope to return soon! Thank you!

−O anfitrião da casa, Pierre, não nos ajudou com as malas e nem se ofereceu para ajudar, isso porque foram 3 andares de escada. O café da manhã deixou muito a desejar, tendo apenas pães, iogurte e frutas. Se quisesse frios, como queijo e presunto ou ovos, eram cobrados à parte. Nunca vi um café da manhã que não inclua queijos. Senti também que o anfitrião não nos faz sentir à vontade na casa, parece sempre que somos uma visita e que estamos incomodando um pouco. A qualidade das toalhas e lençóis do quarto eram péssimas, deveriam ser trocados urgentemente e também não tinha uma máquina de café no quarto. Não recomendo e não volto. Achei caro para o que ofereceu, por esse valor tem hotéis melhores para se hospedar.

We stayed in the Maronnier suit and it was two separate rooms with a lovely entryway room for sitting and an area to relax and watch tv in the master bedroom. The bathroom had such a charming design, fusing new updated shower and sink while keeping its charming ceiling which used to be the wine cellar. The pool was lovely and Pierre, the host welcomed us with so many suggestions and recommendations from activities to restaurants.

Que ce soit les décors intérieurs ou extérieurs, tout est somptueux et cela donne à votre séjour un goût de luxe à la française. L’hôte de la maison (Pierre) est un homme charmant, prévenant et nul doute qu’il vous partagera toutes ses merveilleuses adresses qui ont fait de notre semaine une vraie réussite ! Un endroit à part qu'il faut trouver car ..presque caché.

Paisible, piscine , silence et tout est possible à pieds ..pour aller à Gordes.

Des petites choses à revoir à notre gout ..une piscine qui pourrait être chauffée, une climatisation assez ancienne et bruyante dans les chambres . Et chose très étonnante , nous devons payer en supplément des œufs au plat par exemple au petit déjeuner..(qui était très copieux d'ailleurs et de qualité )

Dès que vous traversez le jardin, vous savez que c'est ici. Vous serez accueillis par Pierre qui vous expliquera tout sur le fonctionnement de la Villa et ce qu'elle a à offrir. C'est aussi une encyclopédie du tourisme en Provence. Ses conseils sont excellents ! Nous avons apprécié les 4 nuits, en même temps nous avons visité 3 fois Gordes, Roussillon, Fontaine De Vacluse et joué au golf sur le parcours De Saummane. Merci, je suis désolé de ne pas avoir réservé pour plus de nuits. Même s’il me reste encore beaucoup de choses à explorer à travers le monde, j’espère revenir ici, c’est sûr, un jour ! Matjaž

+A truly unique and stunning place to stay that embraces equal parts luxury and inviting welcome. This was truly one of the most memorable stays during our travel lives due to the gorgeous grounds, the exceptional breakfast and service that was beyond compare with Pierre and his delightful mother. We would have spent many more days had there been availability. The rooms in this gorgeous estate are well appointed and have a strong French countryside feel. The grounds are stunning with little areas to retreat to outdoors. The pool is shaded by trees which makes for an incredibly refreshing dip when the summer heat overwhelms. Pierre also made several of the guests a special homemade dinner which was delicious and served with such care and love. We would have loved to get to know our hosts even better but every morning they greeted us and always were there to offer help/advice. Loved this stop more than I can express. The pool house was such a phenomenal place to start and end our day. The music, the decor. All wonderful.

Breakfast by the pool was absolutely delicious and the staff were so helpful during our stay, reaching out to us with recommendations and providing any information we needed. The rooms were charming and very comfortable. The Villa is a short walk from the beautiful town of Gordes where we enjoyed many fine meals and convenient for day trips around the region. Mais nous avons été totalement séduits par cette propriété de rêve, le magnifique jardin et les hôtes aimants. Nous avons reçu des conseils très intéressants et utiles pour les excursions et avons fait de très belles sorties, même si le plus agréable aurait été de rester en permanence sur la propriété. Un grand merci á Pierre et ses parents plus le team pour cette belle expérience. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Such a beautiful location, the rooms were huge and so comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and it was the perfect hideaway.

Not too far from the main Village, a 10 minute walk and not too demanding on the way back uphill.

The host family made our trip perfect, they were so approachable, kind and made us feel so welcome.

The house and grounds were immaculate, tastefully decorated and to a very high standard.

Pierre was really helpful and attentive and made our stay so much better with his invaluable advice on Resturants, places to visit and helped us with vehicle hire as well as being a great host.

Ils mettent d’ailleurs à disposition une application sur laquelle nous pouvons retrouver tout un tas d’informations très utiles.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner pendant deux nuits dans cette charmante chambre d'hôte, et ce fut une expérience absolument ravissante. Dès notre arrivée, le cadre enchanteur nous a immédiatement séduits. Loin de l'agitation touristique, nous avons trouvé un véritable havre de paix, un cocon douillet qui nous a fait sentir comme chez nous. Les hôtes ont été d'une hospitalité remarquable, nous accueillant avec chaleur et s'assurant que notre séjour soit parfait en tout point. La décoration de la chambre nous a transportés dans un autre monde, chaque objet semblant raconter sa propre histoire, contribuant à l'âme unique de la maison. Quant au parc, c'est un lieu de détente pur, un espace d'apaisement où l'on peut se ressourcer sans aucune contrainte. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu en profiter davantage en raison d'un manque de chaleur. Cependant, cela n'a fait que renforcer notre désir de revenir. Si vous cherchez une bulle de détente absolue à proximité de l'un des plus beaux villages, ne cherchez pas plus loin. Nous avons déjà hâte de planifier notre prochain séjour dans ce petit paradis. We rented the Maronnier Suiter for 2 weeks with our two small dogs and it was a great experience. Villa Haut Vallon fits so well into the Provençal landscape and has enhanced our beautiful experiences on our excursions every day. The peace and quiet that comes with the villa is wonderful and allows you to sleep deeply. We enjoyed the generous breakfasts and Marianne and Pierre were perfect hosts who took good care of all our special requests (lactose/gluten-free). We just loved it a lot!

We absolutely loved Villa HautVallon! The walk to the town was at first a bit intimidating but it was the perfect antidote to the delicious meals we had in Gordes. And, to be in such quiet and beautiful surroundings was an unexpected treat. We were treated royally by the hosts and especially, Mia. We had so many things we wanted to experience in Provence that we didn't have enough time to luxuriate by the stunning pool. We will know better next time! The Provencal room opened onto a gorgeous patio where we had a picnic of sausage, cheese and tomatoes provencale one night. Pierre picked out an absolutely delicious wine from the region to go with it. I cannot say enough good things about our visit there.

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal in der Villa Hautvallon und hatten auch das gleiche, wunderbare Zimmer. Es war wieder ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Die Gastfreundlichkeit und die sehr stilvolle, ruhige, großzügige Atmosphäre sind außergewöhnlich! Wir wurden unglaublich aufmerksam betreut, das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und wenn wir irgendein Anliegen hatten, wurden wir sofort und sehr nett unterstützt. Die ruhige Lage in direkter Nähe zu Gordes rundet das Ganze ab. Wir freuen uns schon heute sehr auf einen erneuten Besuch!

Superbe établissement, tenu par des passionnés. L’accueil super pro, le domaine superbe et très bien entretenu 👍🏻 Les chambres sont au top. Si il y a un tout petit commentaire à faire : vu le prix de la chambre, il me semble étonnant de devoir payer un supplément pour avoir du fromage et/ou un œuf au petit déjeuner. Il serait plus sympa d’augmenter de 5€ le prix de toutes les chambres et de ne plus facturer de supplément au petit déjeuner…

Tres beau séjour passé en famille à la villa Hautvallon à Gordes. La villa est magnifique, meublée avec beaucoup de charme, les 5 chambres sont superbes et luxueuses, La piscine et les jardins appellent à la farniente aux sons des cigales. Un chemin permet de rejoindre le village de Gordes en moins de 10 mn sans prendre la voiture. Le petit déjeuner était juste parfait. Merci a Pierre , l’hôte de maison, et Mia pour leur accueil et gentillesse . Nous reviendrons et recommandons sans hésitation.

Une propriété très belle avec un charme fou, l’entretien est parfait, c’est reposant et ressourçant.

Les chambres aussi différentes soient-elles, ont toutes leurs histoires et leurs caractères. Elles sont très spacieuses, plutôt des suites à vrai dire 🙂.

Un endroit merveilleux à découvrir absolument si vous pensez aller à Gordes.

Our week at Villa HautVallon was the perfect way to unwind. It is an oasis of tranquility in a lush little valley a few minutes walk from the centre of Gordes and a great base for exploring the Vaucluse. One highlight was hearing a nightingale sing each evening outside our bedroom. Another was the delicious breakfast in the sunny poolhouse. The bed is comfortable, the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated, and the service is both friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé 6 nuits à la Villa Haut Vallon, celle-ci est située dans un immense écrin de verdure tout en étant à 10’ à pieds du centre du village. Raffinement, atmosphère intimiste. Possibilité de manger sur place ( à la demande). Merci à Pierre et son équipe pour leur gentillesse et leurs adaptations des menus pour mon époux qui venait d’être opéré. Vous recherchez le calme, de l’espace, un service, c’est ici qu’il faut venir. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir.

Villa Hautvallon is amazing! Not only is it a beautiful property in a beautiful location, but the owner is very nice, kind and helpful. He assisted us with dinner reservations, as well as gave us ideas for excursions during the day. The suite was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the decor was tastefully done. Additionally, each morning we had a delicious breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room, which overlooks the clear blue pool. We are so glad we found this place, will recommend it to all our friends, and look forward to coming back sometime.

The perfect base to explore Gordes and the surrounding region. Pierre and his family have a beautiful, quintessentially French spacious home that has been developed with taste and is immaculate. We felt incredibly welcome and comfortable. The hosts were impeccable- friendly and helpful and we felt treated like visiting friends. This was a great guesthouse with exquisite decoration. We loved the provencal room which had a pool view and a terrasse to chill during the evening. The owner is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very tasty and fresh every day. It was a pleasure to enjoy the surroundings and cicada noises while sipping some wine by the pool. A great base to visit luberon by car. Free parking is available as well. Strongly recommended !

I am a discerning traveler, but this accommodation took our breath away. Beautiful house, tastefully furnished , luxurious but still feels like home. Large garden but too rugged with privacy.Crystal clear pool for relaxation, large rooms with everything you could need. The part of the pool house where breakfast was served was absolutely breathtaking...I felt like I was in a movie. Thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner who was helpful in everything- making dinner reservations, recommending excursions- my family and I had an unforgettable week here. Thank you!

Das sehr persönlich und gleichwohl professionell geführte kleine Hotel ist das stilsicherste Haus, dass wir je gesehen haben. Es gibt keinen Kritikpunkt! Von der ersten Sekunde bis zur letzten ist man rundum glücklich und zufrieden mit dem Zimmer, der gesamten Anlage, dem Pool und den vielen perfekten Kleinigkeiten. Es entsteht eine sehr freundliche, unaufdringliche aber stets aufmerksame Atmosphäre, die es einem an nichts fehlen lässt. Die Umgebung des Hotels, insbesondere Gordes, ist ebenfalls wunderbar stimmig und fußläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt sehr viele Ausflugsziele und auch das abendliche Essen kann ohne Auto bewältigt werden. Manchmal kocht der Chef persönlich und dieses Dinner ist erstklassig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen!

This is the best place we have ever stayed! The house was beautiful and well kept, the landscaping was pristine, the pool was perfectly relaxing, beds were comfy, food was good, AC and wifi worked well, and the staff was friendly. We typically are always “on the go” doing lots of site seeing on vacation...but when coming to Villa Hautvallon, we were perfectly content just staying put - We could have never left the property and been completely happy! The sites around Gordes and the rest of the Luberon Valley were close by and all within a few minutes drive from the ideal location of the villa. The area felt secluded and private even during peak summer season. Pierre was very helpful too with our itinerary. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Four couples on our second night stop over on our journey to the South of France. Wow, what a lovely property and ideal to share with friends. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. It was a real treat to be able to use the pool to cool down on arrival. It was quite special to have drinks and snacks laid on before the short walk into Gordes for our evening meal. Very charming breakfast room in the grounds. Thank you so much for you great hospitality

Die schönste Zeit unserer dreiwöchigen Frankreichreise, haben wir in 3 Tagen in der Villa Hautvallon erlebt. Ruhe, Entspannung, Idylle, Romantik, ein traumhafter Garten mit viel Platz, ein toller Pool, leckeres Frühstück. wunderbare Zimmer, eine Region wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Erstklassig: der freundliche, aufmerksame, diskrete und charmante Service von Pierre und seiner Familie. Es werden viele Sprachen gesprochen, auch deutsch. Ein kurzer Fußweg nach Gordes und unser Hund fühlte sich auch sehr wohl. Was will man mehr? Gerne wieder!

The Villa is just a few minutes with the car from the center of Gordes.

We had the sport room which was very large and quiet comfortable.

The room also has a separate walk in shower and a small garden to go with it.

The garden has plenty of shade and the pool is very refreshing.

The continental breakfast is served and very fresh and you can help yourself to tea or coffee.

The hosts are extremely helpful with tips of where to go and see.

We very much enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend it.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits/4 jours à la villa Hautvallon et nous avons simplement adoré! Un havre de paix et de beauté ! Le lieu, très belle nature, jolis jardins, bcp de charme , calme , tout est beau la déco, la piscine vaste et très bien placée, l’atmosphère, l’accueil authentique et décontracté, Pierre est très adéquat à l’écoute de nos besoins et agréable! Enfin la région, Gordes, et les restaurants autour de belles découvertes! Région assez chère par contre!

An incredible place, great attention to the details, wonderful room with a beautiful bathroom. Here everything is perfect. Gorgeous pool and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the sun, delicious breakfast served in a cosy pool house. Last but not least the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. They have always been at our disposal for any eventuality: book a restaurant, suggesting itineraries, organising last minute (delicious) meal to help us with our little boy who was not feeling great to go to the restaurant, everything we asked for they did their best to make us satisfied. A beautiful place to stay while in Gordes. It rests at the top of the village within walking distance to the center. Everything about this place is luxury. There is private parking which is very important as there is virtually no parking during the high season. This is a stunning property with hosts that live on the grounds and are available for anything you might need. The beds are super comfortable. There is a large heated pool and they serve a continental breakfast but are willing to make you something else for a moderate price. I loved this place and would be willing to stay here each time I get to Gorde.

Exceptional! Greeted upon arrival and shown to our stunningly decorated room, most of which have private terraces and outdoor seating areas. The peacefulness of this property day and night is hard to describe. There are three acres of gardens, fountains, seating areas, terraces, heated pool deck with outdoor fridge with an honor bar. The L'orangerie next to the heated pool is your comfort area for breakfast with country french decor of chandeliers, oversized wicker chairs, wood beams, a fireplace, portable heaters and hanging ivy with fresh flowers. Breakfast is served from 8-10 with your own personal bread basket, fruits of all kinds and gourmet yogurts included. Other items can be ordered as desired. Service is remarkable and unobtrusive. I loved my morning conversations with Pierre about France. English , German and French are all spoken here. The landscape lightning in the evening will take your breath away as does the apricot vines, the olive trees, rose arbors, stone walkways, mandevilla vines in every urn and hidden statuary as you walk through these gorgeous secret gardens. There is a walkable path to the town of Gordes as well. This family has gone beyond to make your stay incredibly comfortable, private and unforgettable in a magical setting. Gordes is by far the Best base for this region of Provence. We are so lucky to have chosen such a beautiful professionally managed B&B with ultimate luxuries in your room...Once in a lifetime experience. Thank you

Villa Hautvallon, un endroit si beau où la détente est au rendez-vous. Nous y sommes allées pour la 2e fois de suite cette année rien que pour profiter de cet endroit si chaleureux, acceuillant et sublime. Les chambres sont un poème, chaque détail dans tout ce domaine est de la prose. Et en voiture, maints endroits à visiter sont facilement accessibles. Nous y retournerons, c est sûr. Merci à la villa Hautvallon de mettre toute en oeuvre pour nous faire passer des vacances inoubliables :))

Une grande maison magnifiquement décorée et entretenue. Un jardin calme et apaisant au possible. Entourant une très belle piscine. Toutes les pièces de mobilier ou de décoration sont de grande facture et font de cet endroit un site exceptionnel. L’accueil de Pierre, Marianne et Jean François a été remarquable d’attention et de courtoisie. Nous avons passé ici 4 jours en dehors du temps. Les petits déjeuners sont dignes d’un grand hôtel , les diners rappellent ceux de la cuisine Bistronomique. Un séjour inoubliable pour lequel chaque compliment se décline au superlatif. Beaucoup de (bonnes) choses ont été écrites sur cette villa : nous confirmons tout cela : une superbe demeure, tout en pierre, dans un magnifique jardin très bien entretenu, par un jardinier aussi passionné que les propriétaires.

L’accueil est excellent et très agréable pour disposer de très bons conseils de visites ou de bonnes adresses. Petites déjeuners excellents, copieux, fait de produits frais.

Chambres très propres, joliment décorées.

Un séjour vraiment très très agréable, un bel endroit à recommander.

During our road trip in July 2020 and 6 different villa stays, Villa Hautvallon was the one I was the most looking forward to. (And also, the most expensive BY FAR). Unfortunately it was also the only one we were disappointed with at the end of our holiday.

We were made to feel like an imposition and unwelcome during our entire stay. Some examples: 1. One night (at 9:45pm) my husband and I were not talking & working remotely/ writing emails in a common space (which was close to our room where our daughter was sleeping because our baby monitor couldn't reach far) and the host asked us to leave the common space. 2. Our daughter napped mid day, which meant we had to feed her lunch at 3pm. I had went to the grocery store to pick up a few items hoping to eat them at the gorgeous villa. But then we were told we were not allowed to bring outside food in. Although they "let us do it this one time", we felt uncomfortable the entire time.

The actual villa & grounds were gorgeous, but for how expensive it was, I would have hoped we could use it more.

Unfortunately our memories of this villa will be of how the hosts made us feel, which was not welcome.

La Villa est une superbe demeure à proximité du tres beau village de Gordes, avec de belles chambres (chambre sport pour nous) avec un petit jardin privatif très sympathique . Les hôtes sont très accueillants et de très bon conseil pour les activités et restaurants du Luberon, en particulier nous avons été enthousiasmés par le spectacle DALi aux Carrières et Lumières à Baux de Provence, conseillé par notre hôte . Un excellent séjour. Peut être amélioré : wifi (faible connexion en chambre) et petit déjeuner un peu basique pour le standing de la maison

La villa Haut vallon est un endroit magique. Le lieu est décoré avec goût. La piscine est grande et agréable pour nager. On s’y sent comme chez nous car l’établissement aussi grand qu’il soit ne reçoit pas plus de 12 personnes à la fois. De notre côté nous n’avons pas croisé plus de 6 personnes durant ces 3 jours. C’est un luxe dont on prend rapidement goût :) Famille agréable et souriante. Petit déjeuner si délicieux que même les guêpes veulent manger avec vous. Je n’ai qu’une envie : réservez mon prochain séjour.

Le rêve ! Tout simplement magique, merveilleux. Un splendide mas provençal décoré avec beaucoup de goût, un jardin excellemment désigné et entretenu, une piscine de catalogue avec son Pool-House très agréable pour le petit déjeuner (également excellent). Et pour couronner le tout un accueil parfait, attentionné, de bons conseils pour les restaurants et autres activités, nous ont même permis de profiter de la piscine au delà du check Out du matin. Cette maison d’hôte de rêve vous comblera (et même au delà) si vous cherchez un week-end luxueux mais juste ce qu’il faut, au calme, tout près du village de Gordes, où l’on prend soin de vous. Merci à la Villa Hautvallon, et sûrement à bientôt !

Très belle demeure, les extérieurs sont splendides avec une magnifique piscine et des lits de jardin qui invitent au repos, chambre très spacieuse et magnifiquement décorée , les produits d’accueil juste à revoir.. Les petits déjeuners bons , dommage qu’un œuf soit en supplément, nous avons goûté également à un petit repas sur place ce fut très bon et nous avions le bonheur d’être dans un cadre somptueux. Le prix est justifié et les hôtes charmants. De plus le village de Gordes est à 15 minutes à pieds. Je recommande vivement ce bel endroit plein de charme

This review is long overdue. We had the most relaxing stay in May 2018. If I ever get the chance to travel through this area again, I would drive out of my way to stay here! We initially had a hard time finding it, since it’s not directly on the main road and it is gated. However, it’s an easy 5-10 minute walk through trails if you decide to eat dinner in Gordes. We stayed in one of their suites for 2 days. It was complete luxury! Many thanks for the outstanding hospitality!

Lieu magnifique et magique de l’extérieur et de l'intérieur, un accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes aux petits soins pour nous!

Une nuit dans la suite « sport « : magnifique chambre, spacieuse, très propre et la literie des plus confortable.

Lieu idéal pour des balades dans les environs, très proche du centre à pieds.

Bref un seul regret : n’y avoir passé qu’une seule nuit !

We stayed at Villa Hautvallon for 4 days and what a pleasure it was. This family run hotel caters to all your needs and exhibits the beauty of Gordes in the architecture and beautiful interior decorations.

Our hosts catered to all our needs and gave us the best advice for day trips to all the best villages, shows and restaurants in the area and assisted us in making bookings as well.

The grounds are truly astounding with a beautiful pool, lawns and breakfast next to the pool in the breakfast room.

We were even upgraded to a beautiful room with terrace on the ground floor next to the pool, perfect.

We will definitely return when we can and thank you our great hosts.

Being in Villa Hautvallon, is like the very familiar feeling of being at home very welcomed, incredibly comfortable, it is like you are the center of the world and everything simply twirls around you.

I spent months searching for the perfect place to stay in Provence. Let me save you that trouble: THIS IS IT!!! The home is beautiful and the owners are lovely hosts. You will love the beautiful architecture and antique furnishings. Pierre greeted us in the driveway and was so helpful all week with recommendations of things to do in the area. The service and breakfasts were perfect. We will certainly make Villa Hautvallon an annual destination!

Tout était parfait!

De l accueil, en passant par la chambre, le "jardin" et ses multiples couleurs et odeurs, l espace piscine ...bref!! Vous cherchez du calme et de la détente, n hésitez pas!

Seul petit "bémol"...le petit déjeuner.

Très bon avec de bons produits frais, préparé par un chef. Mais il est dommage de facturer les produits salés en plus.

Cependant, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Nous avons passes deux nuits dans cet endroit si doux et reposant.

Le décor est à coupé le souffle, la chambre est spacieuse et joliment décorée.

Le personnel est discret et aux petits soins.

Pas de buffet pour le petit déjeuner mais les produits sont de qualités et frais. (Attention aux suppléments ... les 2 tranches jambon blanc 》 8.00 euros et deux oeufs 》 6.00 euros !!! ) En tant que commerçants, nous avons un peu de mal à comprendre.

Certes, ces petits détails ne changent pas la satisfaction du séjour mais il est préférable de ne signaler pour les futurs hotes.

Nous retournons séjourner à la Villa Haut vallon sans hésitation.

Une maison historique confondante de beauté, de lumière, d'espace et d'authenticité, des chambres spacieuses et confortables, un emplacement remarquable, des jardins en terrasses, de multiples espaces d'intimité, au bord d'une fontaine, plus haut dans les jardins ou le long de la piscine, un accueil familial parfaitement dosé, une belle cave à vin, un service discret et à l'écoute tout au long de la journée. Nous avons adoré la quiétude de cet endroit dans un cadre magnifique avec une très grande piscine chauffée. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique des propriétaires et du personnel. Petits déjeuners copieux,servis dans le pool house et un excellent dîner servi et preparé par Antonio. La région est à découvrir. Nous avons été les premiers clients à inaugurer ces chambres d'hôtes,et nous recommandons vivement cette splendide étape.
